Course Description

COURSE DESCRIPTION

Addresses maintenance, repair and rehabilitation, Facets of Maintenance, importance of Maintenance various aspects of Inspection, Assessment procedure for evaluating a damaged structure, causes of deterioration.

COURSE JUSTIFICATION

To provide methods of assessing the current and future performance of the structure, the diagnosis stages of the structure, survey of structure conditions, remedy: repairing materials, strategies and techniques to upgrade the structure performance.

 

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

By the end of this course, the student should be able to
