Research Seminar 2
The course will aim at examining research
relevance to society, contribution to the body of knowledge, procedures in the
selection and evaluation of research projects, and techniques of data
collection, handling, and analysis. It will help students to strengthen their
ability to do guided research, make a report on technical issues and present
these issues in a scientific set up. While lecturers will give the students
guidelines on the topics to research on, they will not formally teach them in
class. However, what is expected out of the students will be explicitly given
to them and examined.
By the end of this course, the student
should be able to:
Discuss on an overview of Methodology,
Results and discussions of the work done to that date.
Describe the platform for receiving
comments about the methodology, results and discussions.
A student completing the course is
Receive critiques on the methodology
chapter and the chapters on data analysis, results, and discussions.
Improve on the knowledge they have on
Methodology, data analysis, results and discussions.
