Mathematics For Environmental Science
This course introduces the basic concepts of mathematics for the
students. It provides a foundation to help them understand other environment
phenomena and population dynamics.
By the end of this
course, the student should be able to:
- Acquire basic knowledge in mathematics
- Apply the knowledge and mathematical tools to
analyze environmental challenges.
completing the course is expected to:
with mathematic principles as tools to represent natural systems and solve
a proficient familiarity with basic mathematical operations and
transformations, and apply these operations to novel challenges in the
a mathematical literacy permitting engagement with mathematical models and operations.
