§  Introduction to the history and philosophy of EE; Differences between formal and non-formal EE settings Program planning and designing in extension,                                                                                                                                 (5 Hours)

§  Leadership skills in extension,                                                           (5 Hours)

§  Team management,                                                                             (5 Hours)

§  Adult and community education methods,                                         (5 Hours)

§  Communication skills and decision making in extension.                 (5 Hours)

§  Participatory approaches in extension,                                               (5 Hours)

§  Participatory training structure of training programs and community development, Women and extension in developing countries. Roles, professional attributes of practitioners and, the various approaches to provision of environmental extension so far tried out in developing countries like Uganda.                                    (5 Hours)
