Course Content and Outline

The content is both in terms of skill and technical content.

Technical content: This depends on the problem addressed. The student is expected to show understanding and comprehension of the research topic.

Skill content: a student is expected to show ability to use the chosen methods with justification, to collect data and analyse data, and to discuss the results obtained.

MODE OF DELIVERY

·        Lectures and discussions

·        Experiments and laboratory activities

·        Laboratory reports

·        Reading and problem assignments

Each student will continue working with staff with whose guidance the research proposal was written. The member of staff will guide the student accordingly. The student will then be required to present his work to members of staff and his/her peers. As part of the course, the student will also be required to attend research seminars for other students as well.
