Thesis

The rules of assessment of research reports for Graduate students at Kampala International University will apply. The Thesis will be assessed according to the University Guidelines. External examination will be required. A viva Voce will be an integral component of the examination process. The doctoral thesis shall be assessed by internal and external examiners appointed by the directorate of higher degrees and research (DHDR) to advise whether the thesis makes any contribution to knowledge and whether the candidate is worth the award of the highest academic qualification and to assure that the quality of the thesis meets professional and academic standards  set  by  the  institution,  relevant  regulatory  bodies  and  conforms  to  best international practices.
