Course Content and Outline

Detailed Course Description

·         Introduction: basic concepts, purpose, research variables, measurement scales  3 hours

·         Approaches: Qualitative, Quantitative. 3 hours

·         Problem formulation: identification, research questions/objectives, documentation, verification 3 hours

·         Data collection: literature reviews, surveys, questionnaires, field studies, observations, experimentations 6 hours

·         Data Analysis: descriptive analyses (measures of central tendency, dispersion, distribution), inferential analyses (samples, population, estimation), representation (tables, charts, graphs, plots, etc.)  9 hours

·         Data presentation: report writing, oral presentations, communication  3 hours

·         Data Analysis software tools 4 hours

·         Ethical issues: ethics, plagiarism, legal framework, challenges 3 hours

·         Practical 11 hours.
