Breast cancer is a significant public health challenge, especially in less developed regionslike sub-Saharan Africa. This study assessed the awareness of breast cancer amongpregnant women attending antenatal care services at Hoima Regional Referral Hospital inWestern Uganda. A total of 200 participants were involved in this cross-sectional study. Theresults showed that 86% of the participants had heard about breast cancer, while 14% hadnever heard of it. Factors like age, level of education, religion, and occupation were foundto influence awareness levels. However, most women had insufficient knowledge aboutbreast cancer risk factors. This study highlights the need for intensified health educationprograms and the decentralization of breast cancer screening services to improveawareness and early detection
