Effect of Variable Viscosity on Third Grade Fluid Flow over a Radiative Surface with Arrhenius Reaction

Amos W. Ogunsola and Benjamin A. Peter,*

In this work, effects of variable viscosity and Arrhenius reaction on the third grade fluid over a radiative surface through a porous medium isconsidered. The governing partial differential equations were transformed into ordinary differential equations in terms of suitable similarity variable. Weemployed Galerkin weighted residual method to solve the resulting non-linear equations. The effects of variable viscosity parameter, Frank-Kamenetskiiparameter, Brinkman number, Reynolds number, Prandtl number and Darcy number on the system of flow and the results were reported graphically.
