Empowering Women Entrepreneurs: The Impact of Advisory Services on Growth in Rubirizi District, Uganda
This study investigates the influence of advisory services on the growth of women entrepreneurship in RubiriziDistrict, Uganda. Drawing upon the resource-based theory, the research examines the extent to which advisoryservices provided by Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLAs) affect women's entrepreneurial endeavors.Data was collected from a sample of 361 respondents using structured questionnaires and analyzed throughdescriptive statistics and linear regression analysis. The findings reveal a significant positive relationship betweenadvisory services and the growth of women entrepreneurship, underscoring the importance of tailored supportmechanisms for women-owned businesses. Recommendations include enhancing access to financial literacy andbusiness management training, increasing awareness of advisory services, and fostering supportive networks forwomen entrepreneurs
