Tom Akello Abbo

This study explores the intricate relationship between dietary phytochemicals, nutrients, and metabolichealth, with a particular focus on their impact on chronic disease prevention. By reviewing currentliterature and research findings, this paper elucidates the mechanisms through which phytochemicals andnutrients influence metabolic markers, especially in the liver and kidneys. It discusses the potentialbenefits of consuming whole plant-based foods rich in these compounds and provides insights into theirrole in mitigating the risk of conditions such as obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular diseases.Furthermore, it offers recommendations for future research directions and public health interventionsaimed at promoting optimal metabolic health.
