KIU, Western Campus – Klause Niyonsenga graduated with a Bachelors of Medicine and Surgery during KIU’s 28th Graduation Ceremony held at KIU Main Campus on November 25 and he says he plans to use his knowledge and skills to save lives and humanity.
“As a doctor, I plan to use the knowledge and skills I have got from KIU to save lives and help humanity and also to protect the integrity of this noble profession and this mighty university,” he says.
“I also want to make my parents and sponsors happy, smile and enjoy with them because they have been there for me in so many unimaginable ways,” he adds.
Niyonsenga, who joined KIU in August 2015, says he is grateful he joined the university because he has enjoyed many unforgettable experiences here.
“I have great memories in this university. God knows that. I have met great friends and people but one lasting memory was when the university placed me at a satellite KIU site (Mubende Regional Referral Hospital in 2021) after the COVID-19 lockdown,” he recalls.
He adds that KIU has given him a platform to explore heights in multiple ways and he advises anyone willing to get a quality university education to come to KIU.
“Anyone who wants to get good education at university should waste no time in coming to KIU because it is the best private university in Uganda and one of the best in East Africa,” he opines.
He adds that KIU has what it takes in terms of lecturers and the equipment that can aid the students in their learning and give them the necessary skills to thrive in the employment world.
Niyonsenga thanks his family for standing with him in so many ways plus the people who came in and supported him along the way.
