Assoc. Prof. Yale Ibrahim Danjuma is currently the Dean Faculty of Science and Technology, Kampala International University, Western Campus, Bushenyi, Uganda. He has also held numerous senior academic and administrative leadership positions, demonstrating strong institutional management and governance skills. He has also chaired several curriculum development, accreditation, and academic policy committees.
Assoc. Prof. Yale Ibrahim Danjuma is an accomplished academic, researcher, and administrator specializing in Applied Mathematics, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), and Mathematical Modeling of Fluid Flow and Heat Transfer Systems. He obtained his Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mathematics from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, where his doctoral research focused on the Mathematical Modelling of Transient Two-Phase Gas–Liquid Flow and Heat Transfer in Inclined Pipelines. He also holds a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Mathematics and Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Mathematics from Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto, Nigeria, with research contributions spanning fluid mechanics, heat transfer, and disease modelling.
With over 18 years of University teaching, research, and administrative experience, he has progressed through academic ranks from Graduate Assistant to Associate Professor at the Kebbi State University of Science and Technology, Kebbi State, Nigeria and also joining the prestigious Kampala International University as an Associate. Professor, demonstrating sustained excellence in teaching, research, leadership, and mentorship.
Assoc. Prof. Danjuma’s research interests focus on advanced mathematical and computational techniques applied to engineering and scientific systems. His research has significantly contributed to modelling complex transport phenomena in industrial pipelines and porous media systems. Assoc. Prof. Danjuma has authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and conference papers in applied mathematics, computational fluid dynamics, artificial intelligence systems, and engineering modelling. His research outputs demonstrate interdisciplinary integration of Mathematics, Engineering, and Artificial Intelligence Systems.
Assoc. Prof. Danjuma has extensive experience teaching both undergraduate and postgraduate courses in mathematics and engineering-related disciplines. He has supervised multiple postgraduate students at Master's and PhD’s level, and contributed to thesis examination and academic mentoring contributing actively to the academic community through peer review, editorial services, and conference participation.
Assoc. Prof. Danjuma is an active member of several professional and academic organizations. These memberships reflect his professional commitment to academic development and professional standards.
Assoc. Prof. Danjuma aims to advance interdisciplinary research integrating Mathematical Modelling, Computational Simulation, and Artificial Intelligence Techniques to address real-world engineering and scientific challenges.
