Ms. Nakanwagi Baina is the Director of Records at Kampala International University, Western Campus, where she provides leadership in the management, security, preservation, and accessibility of institutional records. She oversees the development of records-management policies, filing and retrieval systems, electronic data storage, backup procedures, staff supervision, and the preparation of administrative reports.

With over a decade of experience in higher education administration, data management, examinations, and teaching, Ms. Baina has served Kampala International University in several capacities. Before her current appointment, she was Deputy Director of Academic Affairs in the Central Examination Unit, where she supported the secure and efficient administration of university examinations. She previously worked as a Data Clerk and Data Manager and also served as an Assistant Lecturer in the Faculty of Business and Management.

Ms. Baina holds a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Accounting from Kampala International University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Education, and a Bachelor of Business Studies in Banking and Finance from the Islamic University in Uganda. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Management Science, specialising in Business Management, Finance and Accounting.

Through her commitment to accuracy, confidentiality, accountability, and digital transformation, Ms. Baina continues to strengthen institutional records management and support effective academic and administrative decision-making at Kampala International University.
