About The Research and Innovation Training (RIT) Programme
RIT is a hands-on interactive 12-week programme at CoEEI, during which learners are taught the Lifecycle of Innovation, using a project-based student-centred approach. This is an iterative learning process that includes: - Problem identification and formulation, conceptualization, solution design, solution development, product feasibility analysis, Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) Management, and product commercialization. Through teamwork, the learners are expected to accomplish a project with multiple outputs (i.e. a publication, IPR protection, and a commercially viable business idea).
About The Design and Development of Internet of Things (IoT) Applications Programme
This is a Knowledge and Skills Transfer (KST) multi-skilling programme at CoEEI comprising various short courses, among them the design and Development of Internet of Things (IoT) Applications. During the eight (8) weeks intensive programme, learners will be taught hands-on programming microcontrollers to design and develop IoT Applications and solutions to real-world challenges.
