COVID-19 Updates: A Ray of Hope As Uganda Registers 37 Coronavirus Recoveries

KIU, Main Campus – A total number of nine people who were recently admitted due to covid 19 have been released today 20th April 2020 by the ministry of health after recovering fully from coronavirus. The patients have been receiving treatment from Entebbe grade B hospital, five of them are choir members from watooto church, three of their caretakers and one boda body man. According to Dr Muwanga Moses, the Entebbe general hospital director says that the 10th patient will not be discharged today as expected because efforts are still underway to prepare the community to receive the person. Their discharge brings the total number of recoveries to 37 which means that Uganda has now remained with 18 active cases. While addressing the nation on Sunday night 19 April 2020, president Museveni once again saluted Doctors and health workers for the great work they are doing and urged Ugandans to cooperate and follow guidelines put in place to stop the spread of COVID-19.
