COVID-19 Updates: Uganda Confirms Four New Cases of COVID-19 Bringing the Total up to 79

KIU, Main Campus – Last night, the Ministry of Health announced four new cases of COVID-19 out of the 1578 samples tested among truck drivers. 

The Ministry noted that all confirmed cases were Tanzanian nationals who arrived in Uganda via Mutukula border by way of cargo trucks. 

Furthermore, the Ministry revealed that 411 samples from traced communities were tested and found negative. 

At this moment, Uganda has confirmed 79 cases of COVID-19.
