Doctors and Nurses Night Upstages Fresher’s Ball

KIU, Western Campus – Last Friday was supposed to be a freshers’ day. But little did the organizers know that the hastily organized Doctors and Nurses night would throw a spanner in the works.

Despite a good turn-up for the Fresher’s Ball Party at Crane Resort Hotel, the activities lined up for the event were in one reveller’s words “childish”.

Activities like hoggery (eating competition) and karaoke got many of the continuing students bored and before long, word about the Doctors and Nurses Night at Swing Inn Discotheque spread like a wildfire.

One by one, students started leaving Crane Resort for Swing Inn and soon, the freshers themselves started following suit.

By 1:00 am, Crane Resort was nearly empty while Swing Inn was filled to the brim. Students danced away until the wee hours of the morning.
