KIU, Main Campus-Africa Kirenga, a former Guild Mp School of Law currently serving as marketing officer for KIU has urged Guild Union Officials to embrace and practice the seven habits of highly effective people to excel in their term of office.

While talking to Guild Union officials during their induction ceremony held in the IBML library today Tuesday 19th May 2021, Africa challenged new student leaders to think about how they want their tenure to end.

While discussing the second habit,' Begin With an end in mind, Africa tasked the leaders to be crystal clear of where they are going. He said that leaders are supposed to envision the end in everything they plan to do.

''If you don't know where you are going, you can't get lost. It is only those who know where they are going that get lost. You need to have a crystal clear picture of what we want to achieve or where we were going,'' Africa said.

He also urged the leaders to always begin with things that matter most.''Things that don't matter should be put last in any of your programs,'' He added.

Africa advised the leaders to systematically put in practice the seven habits by recognising and embracing simple wins.

''Simple wins matter. Life is not built on revolutions, it is built on evolution,'' He concluded.
