KIU, Main Campus-KIU Rangers are ready to battle the incredible JKL Lady Dolphins at the Lugogo Indoor  NBL Tusker lite sponsored Arena. Today's match could prove the best of the season and the Rangers' biggest test in pursuit of National Basketball League (NBA) glory.

Roger Sseruyingo's ladies will need to beat the Dolphins tonight to announce their seizure of power at the top of the NBL women's ladder and also set a clear signal of their title aspirations this season.

The Kansanga-based Outfit will need the best of their evergreen stars in Ines Kanyamunza, Ninette Uwineza, and Sharon Kirabo. These have been magnificent this season, scoring in double digits week in and week out, and should be able to stand the test of JKL Dolphins.

The Dolphins are yet to lose a game this season and have played only seven out of eight but a rejuvenated and more determined KIU Rangers should be a major threat to their invisibility tonight.

The Rangers have lost all their past five matches against JKL Dolphins including the infamous 103-39 humbling in 2019. There has never been a better moment for the Rangers to unleash their revenge and coach Sseruyingo has done a commendable job for this team to do anything in the game and tonight's challenge is one of those they must overcome.

JKL's Hope Akello is the lady many will turn up to watch tonight and for the Rangers, she is the biggest threat from the opposition and must be stopped if things are to be difficult for the two-time league champions who have beaten all the other title contenders including UCU Lady Canons and KCCA panthers.

KIU Rangers remain top of the table with one game above the Dolphins.

Meanwhile, the men's team, KIU Titans will return to home court on Saturday ahead of a big game against City Oilers on Sunday at Lugogo Sports Arena.
