KIU Holds Orientation for August Intake Postgraduate Students

KIU, Western Campus – Stephen Mugerwa says he made the right choice to join KIU because of the conducive environment he found at the university that helped him to complete his Bachelors of Pharmacy Degree.
Mugerwa was among the 1,862 students who graduated at KIU’s 28th Graduation ceremony which took place on November 25 at KIU, Main Campus in Kansanga.
“The environment at KIU exceeded my expectations. The quality of education offered here surpassed whatever I anticipated,” he says.
“The comprehensive education offered, a supportive faculty and excellent facilities present really enriched my learning experience,” he adds.
He says he joined KIU to seek not just education but to get diverse experiences and KIU’s School of Pharmacy offered him an education that aligned with his career expectations.
Mugerwa, who is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Pharmacology, also at KIU, says he wants to contribute meaningfully to the field of pharmacy.
“Whether through research, healthcare, or any avenue where my expertise can make a positive impact, want to contribute meaningfully to the field of pharmacy,” he notes.
“Armed with the elixir of pharmaceutical wisdom, I see myself contributing to the wellness of society. The knowledge I have got at KIU will burgeon into a garden of healing, tending to the health of communities,” he explains.
He advises anyone seeking a university education to come to KIU because of its commitment to excellence, the available resources, and the practical application of knowledge which are key ingredients of quality university education are available here.
He says he has fond memories of KIU because of the engaging lectures, practical sessions in labs, campus events and extracurricular activities which enriched his university life.
Mugerwa congratulates his fellow graduands and advises them to embrace the future with a mind of a scholar, let curiosity become their compass and always strive to make KIU proud.
