KIU 29th Graduation: KIU Has Given me the Opportunity to Fulfill my Dream Career, Fuambe

KIU, Western Campus – Vanessa Prisca Fuambe enrolled at KIU in August 2017, believing it was the ideal place to fulfil her dream of becoming a medical doctor.

And close to seven years after making that decision, she will be among the graduands that will be passed out at KIU’s 29th Graduation Ceremony.

“I joined KIU in 2017 to pursue my Bachelors of Medicine and Surgery because I knew it would give me the opportunity to fulfill my dream career,” Fuambe says.

“By God’s mercy, I am going to graduate after acquiring a lot of knowledge and skills in both medicine and surgery. After my internship, I will finally become a medical doctor,” she adds.

She hails KIU as a center of knowledge and a great place to enhance one’s skills and talents, stressing that no one can regret the decision to join the university.

Fuambe promises not to let the knowledge and skills bestowed upon her go to waste, adding that she will do her best during internship to acquire more skills since she will be practicing more.

“As I enroll for internship, I am going to do my best in managing patients and adding more skills on top of those that I have, since practice makes perfect,” she reasons.

She has plans of going back to school immediately after internship to fulfill her long-held aspirations to become one of the best surgeons in the country.

Fuambe congratulates her fellow graduands on reaching this important milestone and encourages them to aim for the sky because they are the future of the health sector.

“I thank all of you for the resilience but the sky is only the limit, we have different dreams and I hope we keep them moving for the betterment of the health sector,” she advises.

“We are the future health ministers, WHO (World Health Organization) representatives and the doctors that are going to make a difference,” she notes.
