KIU Holds Orientation for August Intake Postgraduate Students

KIU, Main Campus - Prof. Janice Busingye will be among the speakers at the EduData Summit 2022 Hybrid Conference and Exhibition from 8-10 June 2022 at the Delegates Dining Room, United Nations Headquarters, New York, USA.
This year's theme “The Virtuous Circle: Sustainable and inclusive life-long learning through EduData”, will explore discussion topics that include: How data contributes to equal access to education, Tracking the success of initiatives that encourage continued learning, How industries influence course content, The changing demands of employers and employees, and How government policies direct resources towards certain sectors, or have incentives for particular majors.
Prof. Busingye will speak alongside H.E. YB Datuk Seri Noraini Ahmad, Minister of Higher Education, Malaysia, Stefania Giannini, Assistant Director-General of Education at UNESCO, Inderpal Bhandari, Global Chief Data Officer at IBM, and other high-profile speakers. She will discuss the topic, "Starting the Circle". The session will dive into how data shows the gaps in who has access to education, how learning styles are developing to meet needs, and how work of institutions can meet new markets.
