KIU, Main Campus - Life at campus can at times be a mix of hardships, especially considering the pressure to achieve excellent grades while doing some projects on the side too. Edson Mwine, however, seems to be making it all seem easier by juggling a brainy course at the school of law, while also tackling other side hustles.

Mwine is currently a fourth year law student at Kampala International University (KIU) who also simultaneously works as a brand manager for singer Latinum’s record label 'Youngdollarent'.

The record label has a pool of starlets and growing talents including Wevu Walker who was personally nurtured by Mwine.

Mwine has promoted the label through TV appearances on After 5, NTV The Beat, and many more shows, all while maintaining spectacular attendance at law school.

Ascending to such a managerial position, in Mwine’s view, was only possible because of the passion he attached to grooming local talent, as well as establishing a formidable network.

Apart from running a music record label, Mwine has been part of various social changing activities and has headlined the occurrence of MASESCO (Masaka Secondary Old Students League).

Meanwhile, Mwine has also partnered with big companies like Krystal Water and Sisimuka Uganda to promote Masaka SS old students’ league which he organizes annually.

Given Mwine’s story that deserves recognition amongst 2021's outstanding campus hustlers, this goes to show that there is no limit to a student’s capabilities.
