The event was to celebrate the TAC team for their contributions towards KIU academic advancement over the past two years (April 2021 – April 2023).

“We are grateful to the Nigerian Government for sending the TAC members to us. We appreciate your (TAC members) contribution to the academic development of KIU”,

Some of the TAC members served meticulously in various administrative positions at KIU. Among them were Dr. Ibrahim Abdullahi as Director Higher Degrees and Research, and Dr Ibrahim Babangida Babura who served as the Director of Quality Assurance.

Among the highlights of the event was the Book Presentation on “The Dynamics of Development Administration” by Dr. Leke Oke.

The TAC Volunteers Program started in Nigeria in 1987 with the objective of supporting friendly countries in the areas of academics. TAC partners with KIU to help boost academic excellence whilst ensuring the inculcation of quality and relevant knowledge in the students at Uganda’s leading private university.
