KIU Neuroscience Forum Awareness Program on the Human Brain Set for March 17

KIU, Western Campus – The Kampala International University Neuroscience Forum will be hosting a program tagged "The Human Brain" to mark The International Brain Awareness Week, in collaboration with the Dana Foundation, Society of Neuroscientists of Africa (SONA), International Brain Research Organization (IBRO) and KIU Teaching Hospital (KIUTH) on Wednesday, March 17 at KIU Western Campus in Ishaka, Bushenyi.

The brain awareness, which will be held in the KIU Teaching Hospital Conference Hall, will have Prof. Robinson Ssebuufu and Prof. Ahmad Tijani as special guests while Dr. Victor Archibong will be the convener.

The awareness kicks off at 10:00 am and will have Prof. Ssebuufu presenting on Stroke and Prof Tijani presenting on The Brain in Depression and Addiction.

The organizing committee of the event will be chaired by Dr. Archibong and the registration platform to mark the upcoming brain awareness can be found on the link below.

Strict adherence to the Ministry of Health guidelines on COVID-19 will be required and enforced.
