KIU, Main Campus- KIU Titans will look to maintain their impressive winning run when they face NBL debutants Tropical Royals at YMCA Arena on Saturday at 10 AM. The Kansanga based side has won each of its last four fixtures.
Though they have lost five out of the eight games they have so far played, Tropical Royals have had some incredible and spirited performances that leave them in a position to harm any team on a good day. Thanks, KIU Titans coach Raymond Muhumuza is well aware of their potential.
''We anticipate a tough game against a team that has put up some spirited performances so far in their NBL Debut season. They've shown that they can match up against top,'' Muhumuza said in a pre-match interview on Thursday.
"We will have to be defensively solid and contain their best players to get a positive result out of this game," he added.
The Titans are in good shape and have been training hard since overcoming the UPDF Tomahawks in Kansanga on Saturday.
''We have no major Injuries coming into this game. We are ready to face the Royals on Saturday against Tropical Royals,'' Coach Muhumuza assured.
The Titans have played only 6 games so far, winning four and losing two. They remain 9th on the NBL table below Tropical Royals who are eighth and looking forward to playing their ninth game when they meet the Titans in Saturday's early kick-off.
