KIU, Main Campus - KIU Deputy Vice-Chancellor in charge of Finance and Administration, Assoc. Prof. Janice Busigye has commended RENU for enabling a research and education collaboration. While submitting in a live talk show hosted on NTV on Tuesday 6th April 2021, she admitted that the network has been wonderful for KIU. 

During the show which ran under the theme, 'RENU’s 15 years of enabling Research and Education Collaboration’, Prof. Busingye said that the network helped KIU cut costs by 80% and allowed the enjoyment of fast internet connectivity with different packages for individuals.

"Getting on the RENU network cut our costs by 80% and allowed us to enjoy fast internet connectivity. Another good thing is that they have different packages for individuals and it has been wonderful for us at KIU,’’ Prof. Busingye said. 

She added that; "RENU provides one of the best customer services, you can call them and they troubleshoot for you and also give you feedback. If you are paying for internet, you will attain it hassle-free and at a very high speed."

The other panelists on the show hosted by Romeo Busiku were John Kitayimbwa, Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic Affairs, Uganda Christian University, and Lloyd Ssentongo, IT Manager Rakai Health Service Program.
