KIU, Main Campus-Mark Manzi a 2020 graduate from the school of law at KIU is one of the stars who achieved a first class in the postgraduate bar course at LDC during their 49th graduation ceremony on Friday 29th July 2022. He is looking to turn gears at the helm of academics after LDC as he targets  PhD before his 40th birthday.

"It's a dream come true and the beginning of new challenges. Society expects a lot from graduates hence a need to extra work harder," Manzi said in an interview after graduation.

The intellectual gladiator still basking in joy over his incredible performance in the bar course at LDC is super motivated to enrol for
a master's degree and later on a pursue PhD, probably at KIU.

Manzi wants to achieve a PhD before he is 40 years old. His main motivation is to share his knowledge with others and he would love to carry out his trade at KIU at one time.

" My next plan is to enrol for a master's degree, and I dream to have a PHD before 40 and maybe come back and teach at KIU one day," he said in an interview on Monday.

When asked about what it took him to score a distinction in the final examination at LDC, Manzi attributed everything to hard work commitment and teamwork as well as prayers.

"It takes hard work, commitment, teamwork and prayers," he said.

Manzi is a proud senior member of the KIU Forum for Ideas (FFI) where he once served as Public relations officer while still a student.

"FFI saw me start believing in myself and always having a target. It taught me that the sky isn't the limit," he admitted.

Manzi also served as MP representing the school of law in the 2019 KIU Guild Union Parliament.
