After their dismal 46-62 loss to KCCA Leopards on Sunday, May 9 at the KIU Courts, KIU Rangers’ coach Roger Sseruyingo has promised that his side will come back stronger in their next game against the JKL Lady Dolphins on Saturday.

The table leaders suffered their first loss of the season after a perfect 3 wins in 3 games record in their opening games. Coach Sseruyingo however promised a better performance in the next game, asserting that his side can “always take it up and win”

“Our attitude didn’t match with the visitors; we had a lot of gaps and missed lots of layups. Most girls were not stepping up on the shooter, giving a lot of room and offense to the opponent to take shots,” Sseruyingo said in a post on the Rangers’ official Facebook page.

“No matter the situation, we remain positive. No one is yet a champion and it’s a good game to keep up checks and see where to build and improve from. Despite the difference, we can always take it up and win,” Sseruyingo added.
