The Diploma in Computer Science addresses the need for advanced training of personnel in Computer Applications, Systems Analysis, Database Management, Web page design, Networking, Computer programming. While it is appropriate for fresh students from high school, it's also a programme that can be used to train computer personnel aiming to sharpen their skills in the above-mentioned areas.

Admission Requirements

This course is designed for students who meet the following minimum requirements:

  • At least one principle pass in the Uganda Advanced School Certificate (UACE) and two subsidiaries or its equivalent and a credit in ordinary level mathematics or its equivalent.
  • Holders of certificates in computer-related e.g., CCA and CCNA or other fields relevant to the course.
  • Holders of CCNA Certificates and CCNP
