The Diploma in Telecommunications Engineering of Kampala International University is a two (2) year intensive academic programme combining both theoretical and practical methods. Admission Requirements

Admission to the Diploma in Telecommunications Engineering (DTC) program shall be done in accordance with Kampala International University procedures and regulations in line with the minimum requirements by the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE).In addition, a person qualifies for admission provided he/she satisfies minimum requirements of:

  1. At least one (1) Principal Pass in either Mathematics or Physics and two (2) Subsidiaries in science subjects obtained at the same sitting (Must have done Mathematics and Physics at UACE).
  2. The Ugandan Certificate of Education with a minimum of 5 Passes obtained at the same sitting.
  3. A Diploma in Engineering related fields and in science disciplines that includes Physics from a recognized institution.
  4. Certificates approved by the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE) to be equivalent to any of those stated in parts (1) to (3) above.

Tuition, functional fees and any programme-specific charges are confirmed by KIU Admissions and Finance for each intake. Applicants should review the current fee schedule before submitting an application.
