 The Master of Education (in Education Management and Administration) degree, is designed for working professionals such as head teachers, principals of colleges, academics, tutors, school proprietors, researchers, etc.), who wish to improve their professionalism). This programme is intended for qualified bachelor and postgraduate diploma holders in Education and others who have equivalent qualifications and wish to gain qualifications in a wide range of educational contexts or upgrade their expertise. The course of study leading to the Master of Education in Education Management and Administration shall extend for a duration of two academic years, (i.e., four semesters) minimum and five years maximum of study in the programme.

Admission Requirements

The minimum qualification for admission to the programme shall be as follows:

  • At least, a lower second-class honours Bachelor’s Education degree (or its equivalent) in education or a related field from a recognised institution.
  • A postgraduate diploma in education or related field from a recognised institution.
