Programme Overview

The Master of Information Technology (MIT.) is a two-year day and evening degree programme. Its aim is to prepare postgraduate students capable of articulating theories and practices that underpin Information Technology, applying theoretical Information Technology with emphasis of data modeling, information processing, Information technology strategy formulation in business organizations, e-commerce development,and management of Information technology resources and personnel. The programme consists of lectures, tutorials, practical and individual research projects.

Admission Requirements

One will first satisfy the general requirements for admission to Kampala International University prior to being considered for admission to the programme. Admission to the programme shall be open to the following category of candidate.

  • Holder of a minimum of second class honors undergraduate degree that has content rich in Information Technology, Information systems, computer science,  software engineering  or mathematics.
  • Holder of postgraduate diploma in computer science and Information Technology;
