A senior lecturer in the Department of Electrical and Telecommunications Engineering, School of Engineering Sciences (SEAS) and Innovations Manager at the Directorate of Research, Innovations, Consultancy and Extensions (RICE), Dr Umar Malik Mohamed, and other scientists from India and the United States have successfully acquired a patent on Continuous Labelling Assessment Of Products To Improve Efficiency Of Reverse Logistics By Deep Learning Model.
This was made known by the Intellectual Property (IP) Australia, the Australian Government agency that administers intellectual property (IP) rights and legislation relating to patents, trademarks, designs, and plant breeder's rights.
The patent with application number 2020101729 was accepted on the 8th of August 2020.
