Mr. Sempereza is currently an Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Arts and Science Education, College of Education, Open, Distance and E-Learning, Kampala International University. His duties include writing and delivering regular student lectures, writing and marking essays, tests and offering one-on-one reviews on academic performance, holding practical tutorial and music sessions, promoting personal development and directing class discussions, and attending departmental and faculty meetings with other staff members
He attained his Bachelor's degree in Music from the University of Makerere (1999-2002), where he studied harmony, composition, choral training and conducting, analysis, presentation and listening skills, the music of selected world cultures, music acoustics, musicology, craftsmanship, ethno-musicology and music history. He earned a postgraduate education diploma at Kyambogo University in 2007 where methodologies and approaches to music education were taught at the base of education.
He has presented papers during music education conference organized by Kyambogo University and Oslo and Akashi University (Norway) and during a workshop organized by Anglican Church of Uganda music desk. Mr, Sempereza is setting the pace and blazing the trail in Music and training current and future generations of students to explore the heights nationally and globally in line with the motto of the Institution.
