Ademola Olatide Olaniyan, Ph. D a very accomplished senior lecturer at the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Kampala International University in the Physical Sciences Department. He attained his Ph. D in Science Education, Masters in Science Education and Bachelors of Science in Education with a specialization in Physics all at the University of Ilorin Nigeria.
His teaching areas or areas of specialization include; Methodology of Teaching, Materials Science, Analytical Mechanics, Methodology of Teaching Physics, Waves and Optics and last but not least Heat and Thermodynamics. However, he has a keen research interest in the fields of; Innovative Teaching, Problem Solving in Physics, Misconceptions in Sciences and Conceptual Understanding in Physics.
In addition, he is a professional member of the prestigious Southern African Association for Research in Mathematics, Science and Technology Education (SAARMSTE) and the Science Teachers’ Association of Nigeria (STAN) respectively.
With all his strong foundation and vast experience in the field of Physical Sciences, he is in the right position to guide and shape the minds of the future as well as creating sustainable solutions for a better, Uganda, Africa and the world at large here at KIU where we continue to explore the heights!
