Ms. Yvonne Nakalembe is a professional Librarian, Information and Records officer working as an Assistant Librarian II at the Iddi Basajjabalaba Memorial Library - Kampala International University.

Yvonne first volunteered at the same Library as a Librarian for one month before signing a contract in October 2018.

She has a keen interest in working for organizations with a clear focus on career progression under minimum supervision, highly driven to achieve targets, quick to learn and easily adjust to new environments.

She also has practical experience obtained when she worked at the Parliament of Uganda as a trainee and volunteer concurrently between 2016 to 2017. She was in the records department and some of her duties included Indexing of Hansards, Cataloging and classification, and, arranging files in their alphabetical orders to enable easy retrieval of information by authorized users among others.

Yvonne has a Bachelors degree in Library and Information Science obtained from Uganda Christian University in 2017.

She was born on 09th February 1995 in Masaka district and she has special interests in Protecting the Environment and being educated on its Conservation.
