TURINAWE SYLVIA OYIK is a Teaching Assistant at the Kampala International University School of Nursing. Prior to that, she volunteered in teaching at the university and also at the Nsambya School of Nursing and Midwifery.
Sylvia holds a Bachelors Degree in Nursing Science which she obtained at the International Health Sciences University (IHSU) in 2015, and a Certificate in Midwifery which she obtained at the Nsambya School of Nursing And Midwifery. She was privileged to be an International Exchange Student of Health care and social services at the Lapland University of Applied Sciences in Finland.
She has had quite the leadership experience serving as a Coordinator for Nursing Degree, a Trainer of trainees at IRISE- international, and a Deputy Sports Minister at the International Health Sciences University.
Sylvia is passionate about teaching and has stream lined most of her works and activities in that field.
