Kibazo Hashib is a seasoned art educator
with a Masters degree in industrial art and design, a Bachelorcâ?¬â?cs degree in education
(fine art) and a diploma in art and design. He is a practicing artist who has
participated in a number of exhibitions both at local and international level.
Majority of his works grace the walls of different homes in India, England,
America, Uganda, Kenya among others. He has been an artist since childhood no
wonder that in November 2003 he was voted the second runner up in the Uganda
young artistcâ?¬â?c exhibition at Tulifanya gallery in Kampala. Kibazo is the brain
behind câ?¬Ë?Art Secrets Revealedcâ?¬â?c; a National art studentscâ?¬â?c education program. This
event helps both art educators and students to improve on their drawing,
designing and painting skills and attracts a total of over 3000 students
annually.
Kibazo is currently a lecture of art and
design at Kampala International University. His approach to teaching is one
that inspires students to realize their full creative abilities with an entrepreneurial
mind. He is passionate about innovation and his recent innovation is about the
use of smoke to enhance paintings. It is this research work that contributed to
his award of a Masterscâ?¬â?c degree in industrial art and design of Kyambogo University.
