Moindi Jeridah Kemunto is an Assistant Lecturer at Kampala International University (KIU) with nine years of teaching experience.
She holds a Masters’ Degree in Microbiology from Bharathiar University-Coimbatore, and a Bachelors’ Degree in Microbiology from Periyar University-Salem in Tamilnadu-India. Apart from that, she has a Diploma in Computer Application. She has taken up roles of being the ladies representative of Kenya African Students Association for African Students studying in Namakkal and Erode districts (20062007) and a microbiology department examination co-coordinator (KIU). Moindi has published a number of articles in journals, and attended different seminars and workshops to expand her knowledge on microbiology such as the National Symposium on Bioindustrial focus on Microbial Anaplerotic Action, a seminar on Microbial Diversity on Human Welfare, and participated in Workshop on Pedagogy in Higher Education-Enhancing Learning and Assessment.
