Robert Gwaivu is a Lecturer and Department Examination Coordinator in the college of humanities and social sciences department of Applied Psychology where his roles include; mentoring younger academics, teaching and supervising undergraduate students of KIU courses and/ or subjects which are consistent with my academic background and competence, develop and continuously improve the curricular of his courses and/ or subjects, develop a marking scheme for the courses taught, carry out progressive assessments and mark examinations scripts of the course taught, set, invigilate and process university examinations, attend college board and departmental meetings, coordinate all department examinations, enter students results in the data base, monitoring and evaluating learners academic progress, prepare monthly & annual department examination reports among others.
He holds a bachelor’s degree of Arts in Social Work and Social Administration and a master’s degree in Project Planning and Management from Kampala International University. He has also been a lecturer in the university for about six years, his areas of specialization include; Project Planning and Management, Community Social Problems, Research, Community Building, Empowerment and Development, Health, and Social Security & Social Protection Systems among others.
