Watson Cleave is an Assistant lecturer and a School Administrator at the School of Mathematics and Computing, specifically in the Department of Information Technology and Systems at Kampala International University.
He obtained his Master of Science in Information Systems and Bachelor of Information Technology, both at Kampala International University. He has solid experience in academia ranging from being a Teaching Assistant, Examinations’ Coordinator to his current position as an Assistant Lecturer.
Watson’s areas of specialization are Structured Programming (Languages like C, C# and Python), Business Information Systems (UML and Business Essential Modeler), Database Programming (SQL server, PHP and Oracle) and Cloud and Mobile Computing Technologies (Google, Amazon and Windows Azure services). In addition, his research interests include Mobile Computing: Mobile apps for Agriculture, Education and Health Security-Information and Cyber security, Linear Programming-Linear Relationships and Structured Programming-logical decisions.
With his strong foundation and vast experience in the field of Information Technology, he is in the right position to guide and shape the minds of the future as well as creating sustainable solutions for a better, Uganda, Africa and the world at large here at KIU where we continue to explore the heights!
