ASINGWIRE SUNDAY is an Assistant lecturer / Coordinator for Examinations at the Kampala International Universitywhere she teaches and supervises students, invigilates and processes university exams, and offers guidance where necessary. Prior to that, Sunday was a Counselling Psychologist at the New Dawn Counselling and Psychotherapy where she conducted needs, psychological and risk assessments, counselled people and children with different emotional and psychosocial issues, and offered psychosocial support where needed. Between 2011 and 2013, she served as a Part-time Assistant lecturer at Kabale University where she provided course outline and description, supervised and marked examinations, and conducted research on various topics whilst guiding the students.
Sunday holds a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology which she obtained at Uganda Christian University, Mukono-Uganda in 2015, and a Bachelor of Community Psychology which she obtained from Makerere University Kampala-Ugandain 2010. She possesses impeccable skills in MS Office Applications, the Internet, and Web Technology. She has received multiple trainings like the Trainer for the Mental Health Facilitator Program, Addictions and Recovery counselling trainings, and training in Group Psychotherapy.
She is a results-oriented team player who works ably with her counterparts to chieve the goals set, meet deadlines, whilst managing time effectively.
