I am a PhD holder in Public Administration and Management of Kampala International University. I also do hold Masters of Arts in International Relations and Diplomatic studies and Bachelor of Arts Degree from Makerere University. I am well vast with global humanitarian issues such as refugees and Internally displaced persons, human rights and international relations, international organizations, international law, security issues in international relations to mention but a few.
Have worked for ten years in International Relations field as a lecturer and a supervisor in research for both undergraduate and masters’ students, Over the years, I have successfully acquired a high degree of professionalism, knowledge and understanding of dealing in humanitarian problems. Furthermore, I believe that I can effectively take responsibility for incorporating gender perspectives and ensuring the equal participation of women and men in all areas of work.
With enormous experience in international relations and diplomatic studies, I have managed to acquire excellent interpersonal and communication skills and therefore I can speak and write clearly and effectively; listening to others, correctly interpreting messages from others and responding appropriately. I am also an excellent public speaker which enables me to effectively articulate ideas and share knowledge with in a cross-cultural society.
Having spent various years in international relations field, I can satisfactorily work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve organizational goals; soliciting input by genuinely valuing others’ ideas and expertise; placing team agenda before personal agenda; supporting and acting in accordance with final group decision, even when such decisions may not entirely reflect own position and willing to learn from others. Therefore, with all the above skills, knowledge and competences.
