Mbabazi Lawrence is an Assistant Lecturer at Kampala International University. Prior to that, he worked as Departmental Examination Coordinator from 2015 to 2017, and a Teaching Assistant from 2009 to 2010 at the same university.
Lawrence is currently pursuing a PhD from Kampala International University. He holds a Masters degree in Public Administration & Management (MAPAM) and a Bachelors Degree (1st Class) Degree in Development Studies (BDS) from Kampala International University. He also holds a Diploma in Education Secondary (DSE) from NTC Kabale.
He holds a Certificate in Sales promotion from UMI by Pride micro finance, a Certificate in Administrative law from Law Development Centre, a Certificate in Economic management and transformation from National leadership Institute (NALI), a Certificate in Guidance & Counseling from Aids Information Centre Mbarara branch, a Certificate in Development Planning, Procurement and Financial Management from Raitz & Co, a Certificate in Development Planning, Procurement and Financial Management from Optimax Global Associates Ltd, and a Certificate in Public Financial Management and Accountability from Partner Associates Ltd (PAL).
Lawrence has conducted research and investigations about “Graduated tax abolition and service delivery in Local Governments”: a case of Ryeru sub county Rubirizi District, and “High Population growth rate and Health service delivery”: a case of Mitooma District Local Government. These researches provided him with ample knowledge which he has imparted into the students to sharpen their horizons and reasoning especially in solving societal problems in their areas.
