Milon D Selvam Ph. D. is a Senior lecturer and Research coordinator at the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, specifically in the department of Mechanical Engineering at Kampala International University.
Milon Selvam Dennison received his BTech degree in Mechanical Engineering from Bharath Institute of Higher Education and Research, Chennai, INDIA and ME degree in Manufacturing Engineering from Anna University, INDIA in 2007 and 2009 respectively. He obtained his PhD degree from Karpagam Academy of Higher Education, INDIA in 2018. He also has nine years experience as an Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Karpagam Academy of Higher Education, INDIA.
In addition, He has various publications in both national and international journals. His current research interests include metal cutting, metal cutting fluids and machining optimization, Near Dry Machining (NDM), Applicability of eco-friendly and nano cutting fluids in the field of machining.
With all his strong foundation and vast experience in the field of Mechanical Engineering, he is in the right position to guide and shape the minds of the future as well as creating sustainable solutions for a better, Uganda, Africa and the world at large here at KIU where we continue to explore the heights!
