Danson Musinguzi is an Assistant lecturer in the Department of Biological and Environmental Sciences, at the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at Kampala International University where his roles include; Preparing lecture notes/modules/tutorials for BSc. Environmental Management Students; Setting Assessment Tests/Examinations and marking; Organizing Academic Fellowships, workshops and short student pieces of training; Supervising Student research projects/Dissertations and Coordination of Student Practical fields.
He holds a Master of Science in Environment Management and Development and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Management both of which he attained from Kampala International University. Danson has experience in the working field throughout his career and it ranges from being an Environment and Health Units Intern to a Research Data Analyst, to Teaching Assistant and finally to the post he currently holds at the University.
Besides that, he has also undergone intense training in his field and has the certification to prove it, these certificates include; An Intensive GIS and Remote Sensors Hands-on-training Certificate, a Certificate in Statistical Data Analysis, a Certificate in Agroforestry and vision-based planning and one in Certificate in community sensitization and clean up (Urban solid waste management), to mention but a few.
Additionally, he is an honourable member of various Professional organizations like; the Environment Practitioners, HEBOCO Consultants Ltd, Uganda, NATURE Uganda, Environment Association of Kampala International University (KIU) as well as the National Environment Management Authority (NEMA).
With his keen interest, experience and expertise, Danson is in the right position to guide and shape the bright minds of the future generations here at Kampala International University, where we continue to explore the heights!
