KEMBABAZI STELLAMARIS is currently an Assistant Lecturer at Department of Biochemistry at Kampala International University with more than 5 years of experience, where she not only conducts lectures including practical’s, chemistry, metabolism, nutrition, and nutritional disorders and molecular biology lectures to medical students (including; medical students, nurses, pharmacists, clinical officers) but also supervises their nutrition field assessment activities in the rural communities.
Stellamaris holds a Masters Degree in Biochemistry from Kampala International University where she carried out research on the formulation of nutrient-rich complementary biscuit for children 8months to 59months using materials available in Bushenyi. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Makerere University.
Her work has been published in reputable journals like the International Journal of Food and Technology, and in 2018, was awarded as the best performing staff at the Department of Biochemistry at KIU.
Stellamaris is well versed in handling students both in the classroom and laboratory, and also during e-learning, field supervision, data collection and management. She is highly flexible, ready to learn and self-motivated.
