REV. FR. DR. DIDACUS RUHANGAMPAIRE is a Lecturer at the Kampala International University (KIU) Western Campus. Aside from that, he has served at the St. Camillus Catholic Chaplaincy at KIU. He has also been the Parish Priest to Bitooma Parish from 2012-2014, a Curate in the Kitabi Parish from 2004-2005, a Parish Priest in Rwera Parish from 2001-2004, and a teacher at both Kkitaabi Seminary and St. John’s Seminary between 1995 to1999.
He holds a Doctorate of Philosophy in Bioethics from the Institute of Bioethics in the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart Faculty of Medicine and Surgery “Agostino Gemelli” which he obtained in 2012, a Masters in Theology which he obtained at the International Institute of Theology of Pastoral Healthcare “CAMILLIANUM” Roma by Pontifical Faculty of Theology “TERESIANUM” Roma in 2007, and a Diploma in Counselling obtained at St. Francis Counsellor’s Training Institute in 2005.
Ruhangampaire possesses the professional qualifications of computer literacy and professional counselling, but is also fluent in both English and Italian Languages. He enjoys carrying out research and teaching.
